Kia Gets in Fashion for Style360 at NYFW

While it may come as surprise to some that an automaker would take part in an event at New York Fashion Week, with a lineup as stylish as Kia’s the partnership makes perfect sense.

Attendees will be among the first to see upcoming designs from major brands including Chinese Laundry, Bad Butterfly, MOMEMTUM and Livari, plus they’ll get a chance to view the all new Kia Stinger up close and personal. Kia offers several road trip-ready vehicle options

How to Save Money on a Road Trip

Summer may soon be over, but there’s still time for one last road trip! Road trips are once again becoming very popular among drivers in the United States, who want vacation experiences that are lest costly and more about making memories than visiting exotic locations.

Kia has long provided a wide variety of vehicles to choose from that are perfect a getaway. Whether you are looking for a daily driver, or something exciting to drive on the weekends, Kia has something in stock. The Kia Soul, Kia Sportage, Kia Sorento and  Kia Niro in particular are  great options for a road trip vehicle.

Many people want to take road trips, but cave in and abandon the idea at the last second. A lot of this hesitation stems from the fact that road trips cost money. Depending on the trip, it can be quite costly. However, there are a few tricks to help save you some cash, while still having a great experience.

Travel Close

Just because you want to travel and see the sites doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to pay for gas. In fact, there are several amazing destinations that you can reach from Hamburg on just a single tank of gas. For instance, you can drive to New York City, Rehoboth Beach, or the Poconos all on one tank of gas. You can have some amazing experiences relatively “close” to home, while still getting to travel.

Split the Cost with Road Trip Companions

While travelling on your own can be exhilarating, it is often a good idea to travel with at least one other person. While it is not only safer to travel together, you’ll end up saving some money. Imagine cutting the price of gas and lodging in half. Plus, you can have some great company!

Look for Low-End Lodging

If you are taking a road trip, likely one of the biggest costs is lodging. A great way to make a road trip affordable is to cut down on the price of your room. Hostels are a great, affordable option, and are often quaint and cozy. If the route permits it, you could even consider camping in a tent.

Taking a road trip can be one of the most rewarding experiences out there. Don’t let unnecessary costs keep you from enjoying the open road.

Kia has opened the brand new Regional Southwest Office to better provide both service and sales

Kia Opens Southwest Regional Office

Kia has just opened a brand new regional office in the United States. At the end of July, the company opened its Southwest Regional Office. The opening of the new office shows the company’s dedication to its customers and its dealers, and its continued growth in what can be a challenging automotive market. Opening an additional regional office will allow the company to work better with its dealers in the area, ensuring that Kia’s customers are given the best service possible. A new office displaces the amount of dealers in the other regions, which should lead to a more focused approach.

The new regional office will be headquartered in the metropolitan area of Dallas, Texas. The office and region will be run by Scott Martin, who is no stranger to effectively working and running an office. He was a high-ranking manager at the Western Regional office, and will take his experience into the new Southwest region, where the brand will hopefully flourish.

Kia continues to show its dedication to expanding its brand and furthering customer satisfaction. The automaker has launched several new vehicles, including the highly-anticipated 2018 Kia Stinger. The vehicle is a sports sedan, which is a new face for the company, and will be available sometime in late 2017.

The company has also expanded  its internal technology offerings, supplying Amazon’s Alexa with Niro Skill, which allows users to learn everything there is to know about the Kia Niro by asking Alexa. Kia is clearly focused on expanding its brand and providing customers with the best experience possible, and this includes their construction of a new regional office.

Kia Gets Tech Upgrade

As it continues its path of forward progress, Kia has announced some new tech upgrades that will improve user interface and customer satisfaction. These new tech implements come in the form of Niro Skill and a hands-free voice recognition system. Niro Skill allows customers to learn more about the new Kia Niro while using Amazon’s Alexa. The hands-free voice recognition system is currently in development.

The voice recognition software is not a product solely from Kia’s production team. Rather, the Korean tech firm Kakao has teamed up with Hyundai and Kia to develop the system. Kakao has taken the helm in the project, leading the way into developing a hands free system for Kia and Hyundai vehicles. Kia and Hyundai have been integral to the process, however aiding in the development. The AI tech that will be installed into the vehicles is from Kakao, dubbed ‘Kakao I’.

Customers will have to wait a while until the ‘Kakao I’ becomes available. The companies will begin the integration process in a few select vehicles; it is not clear when this product will be widespread. However, Niro Skill has already hit the market. The goal of Niro Skill is to allow those interested in the new crossover learn about the vehicle.

Users are able to ask Amazon Alexa virtually anything about the Niro, and she will give them precise answers. Users can find out specs about the vehicle, as well as check availability at local dealers. You will even be able to schedule a test drive of the new crossover by using Alexa. Due to the success and ease of using Alexa, Kia, like many other manufacturers, may continue integrating the technology even further into their lineup.
